McKEE BRIDGE TOUR

9045 Upper Applegate Rd. Jacksonville, Oregon 97530

It was the 92nd birthday of McKee Bridge. There were horse shoe tournaments, bingo, venders, a BBQ lunch by the Applegate Lions, a cribbage tournament, train rides, bake sales, craft vendors, a raffle, a history exhibit about early day hard rock mining in the upper Applegate, displays of interesting stones, music, and much more.

Everyone enjoyed a relaxing Saturday - until the rain and thunder rolled in about an hour before closing. This took place near the small town of Ruch, Oregon in the Applegate Valley with the Applegate Dam nearby which created a lovely park, campsite and lake.
